Our Story
My name is Miles Backer, and I'm the founder of Milehigh Backline and Production, a DJ gear rental and event production company serving Tampa Bay and Southwest Florida. My passion for EDM began in the early 2010s, when I discovered progressive house artists like Zedd, Deadmau5, and Calvin Harris. Since then, it has become a defining part of my life.
After gaining experience in event production and DJing at local fraternity events, I started working for a local events and production company. It was then that I saw an opportunity to contribute to the EDM scene in a way that combined my personal passion with my professional skills.
I founded Milehigh Backline and Production to provide high-quality DJ gear and production services while helping grow the EDM community in Tampa Bay. My goal is to offer reliable services, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and build lasting relationships. We currently support a variety of local events, ranging from small private parties to smaller-scale local festivals, helping bring people together through music.
Our Goals
Looking ahead, I envision Milehigh Backline and Production becoming a central player in establishing Tampa Bay and Southwest Florida as a hub for EDM events. I want to help artists and event organizers turn their visions into reality.
